Found the problem, was missing the database.cfg - somehow it was missing.

For some reason when i ready up it just says "<My name> 1" thats it and i have no idea why... is it maybe because my name is so long and reaches the maximum letters that steam allows you?

EDIT: Its only when i ready up never when i unready

Sounds like you set a custom ready message to just "1" via .readymessage.

They can be turned off via the server cvar sm_pugsetup_allow_custom_ready_messages and are stored in the clientprefs cookie "pugsetup_ready".

What would be required to use pugsetup_damageprint with a different match plugin (specifically get5)? I'm liking the features of get5, but I need the damage printer.

Remove the pugsetup natives used in it and (optionally) replace them with equivalent get5 natives. It doesn't really make sense to me though, since get5 is intended for actual matches (not a pug/mm system), which never have damage on display.

Edit: Instead of using RWS as a calculation or measure of stats, is there anyway you can implement into using HLTV? It's a little more consistent and simple towards calculations. It may even balance teams much more efficiently!

"This plugin implements a simple rws calculation scheme" etc. Could you elaborate on what that means and/or how this plugin works? Does it like use the players ranks from their actual Comp rank? Sry I myself don't play comp, I just maintain some pub servers.

No, it does not use the players rank at all. It records/tracks the players contribution during the game. A better explanation would be: https://play.esea.net/index.php?s=support&d=faq&id=212
