Hy! I own a counter-strike amxx server and can't find any plugin against ghousters the only one i could find doesn't work, but on the amx version they are 3 plugins with these functions. What is the problem is too hard to convert those plugins from amx to amxx or is it to hard to create one for amxx?

what do you mean? like... are you talking about voice? or typing? or an outside chat program (i.e. Ventrilo or TeamSpeak)?

No i mean lan players, ip cheaters, idiots in the same game room who watch each others screen i have found a plugin but nobody can make it work....

I think he means a plugin that'll blackout the dead player's screen.

Just use that one cvar that doesn't allow spectating of the other team. That'd be best. Unless, of course, you wanted to let admins spec both teams.

Put that in a new line on your server.cfg...

then they are blind as well as everyone else when dead, including you... but thats the fix to your problem

thats a cool plugin, but im on comcast, and i share my LAN with no one... but i find people with addresses similar to mine all the time....


btw that plugin killed my idea to help.... grrr to amxx scripters!!! (i gotta learn how to amxx)

That's why there's an option in that plugin to only match exact IPs rather than the default first 3 octets.

255.255.255.1 255.255.255.1 <=== Impossible you can have the same ip applied to 2 different computers...

255.255.255.1 255.255.255.2 <==== that what you mean?

Can or can't ? You can have two computers with same ip's. But they won't be able to communicate with each other.

What Brad was saying is that you should let the plugin check the whole ip, instead of only the first three octets. If I'm notmistaken it only checks the first three octets by default, e.g. 1.2.3.x (it doesn't check the x in this case). In your case you should let the plugin also check for the x (the last octet).
