I don't even know what to respond to here...

VPKs would be a bad idea for VSH since you'd have to update the entire VPK if a single file was added to the download list, and then clients would have to download the whole thing. Until I can figure out this versioned VPK stuff, that's a no-no.

I'm probably removing the sound files and material files from the serverside next update, so they only go on the download server. I don't know how this would work out if you don't have an sv_downloadurl, though. Somebody test how that works for me, as I fear that this means that it REQUIRES the sounds/materials to be on the server, just so that clients can download if you lack a fastDL.

For the m_iScore thing, try writing a small test plugin that uses the GetTeamScore native. As you have a native erroring, it should error for all plugins, not just VSH, and would therefore be an issue outside VSH which doesn't entirely seem fixable from within VSH.

The only reason why i made a vpk file is for the serverside so its easy to have it in just 1 file and thats it. It should not include the sound/material perhaps but it cant hurt.

It doesn't do anything more then that. Clients cannot download vpk files. And as flamin mentions, even if they did we would still not do it since the client cannot detect which version of the vpk it needs (or that it needs a new one for that matter)

@Darkevil: because solar radiation hit the datacenter. Melting one of the core switches that connected the live feed towards mann co that is needed for the propulsion of for instance saxton and/or freak. Its just a matter of waiting till the fuel cells are recharged by japanese chimpansees before they jumpstart it again.

I see what you mean. Yeah, a VPK on the server would make the server 'see' the required files. However, if you don't use a fastdownload server then it'd try downloading the files to the client from the server itself and that wouldn't end up well, but you are using a fastDL so it's all good.

Just installed this mod, and I'm a bit confused. I've seen servers with other bosses like Cave Johnson, and The Administrator... but yet it wasn't running FF... how/wear do I go to activate those?

Quick, someone make a "Most Descriptive Bug Report 2013" trophy!
...I'm going to guess that the plugin isn't loading for you. Type sm plugins load saxtonhale into your server console to find out why.
If you're lost, make sure you've read the entire "Installation" section in the first post.
If you get "plugin is already loaded" make sure you're on an Arena map.

Extremely modified and private versions of VSH, which in most cases might as well be called "VS Everyone Except Saxton Hale Mode".

Alright, so I'd just be better using FreakFortress then? Which is no big deal... I was planning running VSH and FF side by side anyways.
