About the hunting bit... Have you ever seen an animal hunt another animal? Would you consider that cruelty? They don't take their time torturing their prey, they end it right there. If you're sadistic and like to take time in hunting, like shoot the legs so it won't get away then start cutting limbs off and ripping organs out, THAT's cruelty. Otherwise, it's somewhat natural.
