Hello All,

Is it possible to restarting CSGO server via the game console? I have root access.

Game = CSGO
Sourcemod and metamod are installed.

You can crash the server (send _crash command to server console) and it'll re-start itself in 10 second.
If server re-start with different port, then try add -net_port_try 1 to server start line.

Why don't you just restart server from ssh if you have root access?

Hello Amroth, sry my mistake. the question is via game console not the server console. I want do that when i am in game. So i want open game console with ~ and than restart the server. Is this possible? if yes, how to do?

Are you familiar with rcon (remote console)?

All that does is send the command to the server. e.g. "rcon _crash"

It does nothing for me.
Just type sm_rcon quit in your game console and the server will reboot.

I get fancy and use ent_create weapon_usp.

This only works with cheats enabled or a cheats override plugin.

However, Konstantin is 100% correct.
