When using This HP Formula (((890+n)*n)^1.04)/2
How can I calculate the boss's HP for when 23 people are against him?
I want the boss to have around 22-23.5K HP in total when he's facing 23 (1v23) (He has 2 lives by the way.)

Is 890 enough? (Teach me please eitherway so I could set it to my liking)

P.S. That's my last thread before I finish the test boss, so thanks a lot!

n means amount of players, including the boss (except in 1.10.15 Beta).

Usually 890 is above average, average being (((760+n)*n)^1.04). So fit for tank based bosses or bosses that use above average HP.

For calculating the HP, replace n with amount of players + 1.

Oh so that's why I was getting 16K+ when calculating... lmfao, I was so confused, because I've been told to put 890 for the boss to have 10.5K HP when 23 people are facing my boss. Thanks!

But the +1 counts me too? Like if 24 players in total are in the server, is it 25? or you're talking only about the opposing team to the boss +1 ?

Yes, the boss counts too when calculating. 1.10.15 Beta and some forks don't do this but common FF2 does.
Note it only counts once so companions are calculated, just itself.

So here's the question, does "(((720+24)*24)^1.04)/2"
sounds good for a boss with 2x lives? It's about 13.2K HP per life, should I reduce it?
(((760+24)*24)^1.04) sounds too much for a boss. It's 28K hp. ;o;

My idea was to let the boss have 11-13K hp per life with 23 people against him

I was always curious, why such a complicated formula, if you can use like "y(x) = kx+b"

The complex formula helps with scaling player amount because for example,
3 players working together is more powerful while 3 players working independently isn't so much.

And the default formula is alot more complex: (((760.8+n)*(n-1))^1.0341)+2046

oh btw, instead of making a new thread (lol) :

Do you know how I can add to my hale's model equipment on his back? Like how MLG Sniper's model has a sniper on his back.

That's probably a modeling thing, which I have no idea on modeling/rigging.
