Hey. So are we waiting for a super-smart person to post a fix or are we waiting for it to fix itself? I'm clueless as to how the whole 'days after update' things pan out

Well there's 2 things you can do; play the waiting game for a fix for the windows version OR upgrade to a linux-based server since the linux version is working just fine like my server

Or...you could just disable the ammo pack thing; that seems to be the only thing that's holding it back. The Easter Bunny's rage does not (as far as I can see) use it.

LITERALLY SECONDS LATER EDIT: The Easter Bunny does use it, and I'm silly. But still, a short random velocity shouldn't mean much.

Can you please tell me how to disable it? That way I can get my vsh server running for now.

Commenting out #define EASTER_BUNNY_ON will fix it and disable the Easter Bunny.
//#define EASTER_BUNNY_ON (line 40)

Here's VSH 1.42 with the ammo pack velocity function completely commented out...turns out it's only used for the Easter Bunny. Whoops.

Untested, but should work.

EDIT: Gamedata update is here. Stop using this, revert back to the standard 1.42 and use this gamedata, it should fix it properly.

My players and I thank you very much for this kind sir! The downtime has been devastating to our VSH community which we have built over many years. It may already be too late to recover fully, but you have given us a fighting chance. Thanks again for taking the time to help us 07
