Hi, i curently have a problem with the plugin. When i join the server, i joined a team and went to spectator mode. It happens when my friend joins too.

Hey, I'm interested in setting up a server to do a 1v1 arena, but would like to have respawns occur ASAP instead of waiting for all rounds to end. I'm less concerned with assigning based on win/loss.
It seems like the spawning is tied in pretty tightly to the ranking/mvp assignment to determine who spawns in which arena; would it make sense for me to try and tweak stuff with your plugin to get the functionality I want, or is it linked together tightly enough that I'd be better off building something from the ground up?

Not sure. I'd have to think about that. I originally wanted something like that, but people liked this system and I just stuck with it.

Hi,

I have the same issue like Jaegermark42 on my server.

When I restart the server and join the game everything works just fine.
If I change the map via /admin everything works just fine as well.

But by changing the map automatically when the gametime ran to 0 everyone just gets connected and is forced to be in spectator "team".
The round timer also just runs down from 1.45 which indicates that it just uses the usual competitive mode (maybe?).

There are absolutely no error logs which could indicate me the issue.

Can you please help me? I have no idea what to do


edit: I could fix it finally.
Reason: You have mp_restartgame in the game_cvars to be set on 1. Otherwise it won't start a new game on the next map.
I initially turned that off since I thought that the map just restarts like in usual competitive server.

Did you originally remove that command from the file?

If so, it's probably some oddity with the round_start/round_prestart/round_poststart/round_end events not firing the way I expect them to, but my cheapo fix of mp_restartgame actually fixed it.

yup, my fault. remove the unwanted plugin and found out that other plugin is causing the problem.
