Which is what caused the confusion for me with all of these other VSH servers running with "custom" bosses. I thought that FF was mandatory for that, so when I noticed that I couldn't get the ones that the modified servers had on my servers VSH mode, I was kind of like "WTF." lol

Looks like for whatever reason the gamedata was stale despite the updater running and printing it was updating the gamedata. I can now successfully run FF2. (and presumably VSH) but I decided to upgrade so we could have more bosses.

Warthog, it's not that hard to add custom bosses for VSH, I prefer VSH because FF2 is too iffy for me, that's just me though; so I painstakingly add bosses myself through the VSH source.

Also I was wondering Flamin' Sarge, can I give out some of my bosses for vanilla VSH? (i. e. models, materials, sounds, input of boss code)

it's not hard, but it's very time consuming, because if you fark up somewhere, the compiler will beep at you.

All I did was look at how the bosses are put into the code, and I emulated it.

despite my inherent inability to learn sourcepawn, it's not hard to copy the way a code was written and then do it 5 times more. Although it's probably NOT the wisest thing to do, I have to work with what my abilities can do.

Small suggestion: Vaccinator, only protects melee, doesn't crit/medirope.

welp

loading saxtonhale plugin instantly crashes the server.

running on linux
latest metamod dev snapshot
latest sourcemod stable snapshot
same with latest sourcemod dev snapshot
no other plugins besides tf2items :/

You could try and install breakpad.. http://builds.limetech.org/?project=accelerator it would show you a part of the logfile too if i am not mistaken.
