Ciao guys,

I got a plugin which creates healthbars for players (spawns and parents env_sprite_oriented) and I got some problems with newer versions of SourceMod not showing the healthbars.

SM version <= 1.9.0.5936 - OK
SM version >= 1.9.0.5938 - BAD

It looks like the entity is created (server console logged late precaching the sprite material), but it's not shown on top of the player. If I change SM to 1.9.0.5936 (and earlier) it's working just fine.

Was something changed that I missed and must do to properly spawn env_sprite_oriented? Or is this a SourceMod bug?

The change between those two versions shouldn't actually affect anything at all. Are you sure nothing is changing between your tests but the SM version?

You could file a bug if you can create a minimal test case with steps to reproduce the problem.

If I use these files (see bellow) from 1.9.0.5938 and later, the plugin is not working.

• sourcemod/bin/*
• sourcemod/extensions/*
• sourcemod/plugins/*

Neither I see anything that would break spawning sprite, but it just happens.
I used mentioned SM files from various versions and the plugin is not working only with files from SM version >= 1.9.0.5938.
