Hello

I have downloaded the data for a dedicated server from Steam with the hldsupdatetool.exe
But I can't find the liblist.gam anywhere. This file should be in the cstrike folder, shouldn't it?

I need it for the metamod!

Does anybody know, why this file wasn't downloaded?

Can someone tell me what is written in the liblist.gam?

Please help!

I had the same problem before but I managed to find it there are two ways of doing it:
1)Go to Start menu look for Search then on the list you will see:
What do you want to search for?
you click on the one that says All Files and Folders on the menu that says:
All or part of the file name, you type: liblist.gam
2) Go to My Computer/Local Disk (C: )/Program Files/Steam/SteamApps//.
Then it will have a folder that will say the name of name of your Steam Account. (e.g. if my account name is crackhead it will show a folder named crackhead.) so continuing it...
My Computer/Local Disk (C: )/ProgramFiles/Steam/SteamAppsFiles/Steam/SteamApps/Crackhead/ (im guessing it's Counter-Strike.)
My Computer/Local Disk (C: )/Program Files/Steam/SteamApps/Crackhead/counter-strike.
if you look in that file you will find the liblist.gam. I hope this helped, i tried my best to make it easier for you to understand.

yes I did it. I only find this liblist.gam in a Counterstrike 1.5 server.

Is it also needed in CS:Source? The metamod:Source is working!

It only says when I type in meta list ->Nofile here my Topic /problem about nofile

Source doesn't use liblist.gam. Nor do we support Source. AMX Mod X is for HL1 game mods. Source is an HL2 game mod.
