Or maybe you could make something like this as a additional plugin. The thing is, the maprate plugin is ok, but it will keep a record of all maps played. So the listing in the database holds all kinds of map including maps no longer in the rotation. With a maplisting from umc somehow one could say remove all maps not in the umc maplisting from the maprate database.
I could potentially add this.

I have 4 groups but 1 of them is never available.
If you are using Tiered Voting, all Groups will appear in the vote, provided they contain available maps.

If one of your groups isn't appearing, it is normally because none of the maps in it are available. If you post your umc_mapcycle here, I will take a look.

I've been having a problem with run-off votes ever since I updated to the latest version. Specifically, once the runoff starts no option is displayed to players and, if the UMC admin menu is to believed, the map vote never resolves (going into the menu at any point after the runoff gives me the option to cancel the current vote). At the end of the map, since the vote never finished, it will just select a random map.

Checked the error log and noticed this pops up on every map change:
Quote:
L 01/21/2012 - 19:06:11: [SM] Native "IsClientInGame" reported: Client index 0 is invalid
L 01/21/2012 - 19:06:11: [SM] Displaying call stack trace for plugin "umc-core.smx":
L 01/21/2012 - 19:06:11: [SM] [0] Line 1755, umc-core.sp::VM_MapVote()
I don't think my mapcycle is the issue since I hadn't edited it since updating and it was working fine beforehand, but I've included it anyway.

[EDIT] [strike]Browsing through the thread it looks like at some point "umc_rotation" changed to "umc_mapcycle." Making that change seems to have gotten rid of the error in the log, but I won't know if it fixed the runoff problem until the next time the server fills.[/strike] Looks like I spoke too soon. The error is still there in the log and the runoff problem is still happening.

I have one problem. When I install it, server stop reading mapname.cfg -.- I have for example koth_harvest_final.cfg and I have there 3 commands and server doesn't see it. I must add it to "command" in umc_mapcycle but some commands doesn't work... I'm using this to override game desc on custom maps http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?p=1583349 and now I can't use it cuz it doesn't work (cuz server doesn't read map config) -.-

UMC does not interfere with the execution of mapname.cfg.

That's odd, I fixed this issue in the newest version of UMC. Try using the following version of umc-core.smx. The "umc_rotation" to "umc_mapcycle" fix does nothing. In fact, as long as it's not an empty string, you can change "umc_rotation" to anything and it won't affect the plugin.

Sorry, i was busy the last days. So i had not much time to test UMC again.

Well, i tried to test it today on my empty test Server. Pls have a look on my
umc_mapcycle.txt again:

Code:
// Mapcycle definition for Ultimate Mapchooser v3.1 by Steell

"umc_mapcycle"
{
    "GroupA"
    {
        "maps_invote"    "3"
        "default_min_players"    "0"
        "default_max_players"    "16"

        "de_dust"
        {
        }

        "de_dust2"
        {
        }

        "de_aztec"
        {

        "cs_italy"
        {
        }

        "de_dust_csgo"
        {
        }
    }

    "GroupB"
    {

        "default_min_players"    "16"
        "default_max_players"    "24"

        "de_dust"
        {
        }

        "de_dust2"
        {
        }

        "de_aztec"
        {
        }

        "de_nuke"
        {
        }

        "cs_italy"

        "de_dust_csgo"
        {
        }

        "de_inferno"
        {
        }

        "de_cbble"
        {

        "de_dust2_revolution"
        {
        }

        "de_piranesi"
        {
        }

        "de_chateau"
        {
        }

        "de_prodigy"
        {
        }

        "cs_office"
        {
        }

        "cs_assault"
        {
        }

        "cs_compound"
        {
        }

        "de_port"
        {
        }
    }
}
Ok. As you can see, i dont want many groups or whatever. All Mapvotes
or nominations should just be based on player count.

Group A Should be available from 0 to 16 Players (MapEnd Votes
and Nominations)

Group B should be available from 16 to 24 Players (same here)

On every Map End Vote there should be 3 Maps included, while the last Map being played should be excluded.

Thats all.

But what i can say so far is that i only can nominate 2 Maps atm.

I dont have a clue where this could be limited, but from what i see
so far i should normally be able to nominate every map of group A
while being alone on the Server.

Any Ideas out there

Post your umc-nominate.cfg file.

That does seem to have fixed the runoff issue, but the map is still changing to a random map in the file even after voting. Nothing in the error log, but I suspect it has something to do with the randcycle module. I'll disable it and see if that's the issue. Thanks for the help.

@ STEEL: Hereīs my umc_nominate.cfg

Code:
// File to use for Ultimate Mapchooser's map rotation.
// -
// Default: "umc_mapcycle.txt"
sm_umc_nominate_cyclefile "umc_mapcycle.txt"

// Flags necessary for a player to nominate a map, if flags are not specified by a map in the mapcycle. If empty, all players can nominate.
// -
// Default: ""
sm_umc_nominate_defaultflags ""

// Specifies whether players have the ability to nominate maps for votes.
// -
// Default: "1"
// Minimum: "0.000000"
// Maximum: "1.000000"
sm_umc_nominate_enabled "1"

// Specifies how many past map groups to exclude from nominations.
// -
// Default: "0"
// Minimum: "0.000000"
sm_umc_nominate_groupexclude "0"

// Specifies how many past maps to exclude from nominations. 1 = Current Map Only
// -
// Default: "4"
// Minimum: "0.000000"
sm_umc_nominate_mapexclude "1"

// Determines the order of maps in the nomination menu.
//  0 - Same as mapcycle,
//  1 - Alphabetical
// -
// Default: "0"
// Minimum: "0.000000"
// Maximum: "1.000000"
sm_umc_nominate_sorted "1"

// Organizes the nomination menu so that users select a group first, then a map.
// -
// Default: "0"
// Minimum: "0.000000"
// Maximum: "1.000000"
sm_umc_nominate_tiermenu "0"
I canīt see, why there should be only 2 Map available in nominations
Menu. There should be enough, as you can see in my umc_mapcycle.txt above.
