Since you already did it, it's kind of a moot point, but I'd advise waiting for a new sourcemod. According to banter in the channel, the update broke the event system for left4dead in SourceMod....

I've helped 3 people set this plugin up now, and this is the problem every single time. MySQL requires a host bound to the account you log in with. By default, it's localhost, which isn't correct....

Code above does that, but when i tested it briefly player_say didn't fire when specs talked, only survivors/infected.

The plugin should try to set it to utf8 already, but I've seen it have problems depending on the db. Is it giving an error? Try running it in mysqladmin and check the result.

A lot of people complained about the amount of output this plugin gives when skeeting during a game, and they were right. community skeets flooded the chat window. I've added a verbosity option now...

That's not a 100 damage pounce, it's a ~60. You're getting that type of damage because your values are incorrect.

If all the cvars reset, so should the cap damage one. Unless you put the default to 400 as well, in which case, change it back to 25.
