can someone teach me how to load an motd so that it shows up when you join the server?, the place wehre most servers display their rules.

i know how to code html but when i save it, it doesnt show up when i join the server.

i am running amxx 1.76d, cs:cz, listenserver on sv_lan 0 mode

are u editing dod/motd.txt ?

if so in it u should just have:

<html>
<head>
<titleOMG I PWN</page>
</head>
<body style="background: black">

<span style="color: white"> HERE GOES W.E YOU WANT IT TO SHOW

for ex:

RULES</br>
1. NO HACKS</br>
2. ALL YOU SUCK!!!

no its cz

Yes, use the <html> <head> <title> tags to start and just write it like normal HTML.

well i'm NOT USING DOD, so why cuss at me?...


vvg, i already coded it but, it dosent seem to be showing. all it shows is the defaul motd. (this is a listen server)
