Can anyone help me with Fast DL, i have readed about it before, but i cant do it..
Can i fast dl with free website?

Hi. Yes you can do fastDL in some websites but i don't recommend as they have file size limits or you can get errors like could not connect to server when downloaded map from that web.

Yes you can setup your server for Fast DL. Just follow below steps.

1. Register at Dropbox. (Its a free Online storage web)
2. After registering, Loginto your Dropbox account.
3. After logging in, go inside your Public folder.
4. Now upload the custom maps, models, sounds etc. in your public folder.
5. Now move your mouse on the file and right-click on it, you will see Copy Public Link, click on it and you will get your file's link.
6. Now copy every file's public link and save it on your computer, in a notepad or anything else.
7. When done, go to HLDS/cstrike/. Open the server.cfg file.
8. Now on the top, add this cmd -> sv_downloadurl "your_file's_link_here"
9. In the your_file's_link_here area, put your own file link you have uploaded to your Dropbox account.
10. Now do it with all the files. For a great time-saving, just copy the root of your public folder. Get the link from Link bar of your web browser.

Root of a public folder is, example: If your file is on Dropbox account with name myfile.mdl, Dropbox have a special code for the users, when you logged in your account, see at the link bar you will see something like, dropbox.com/u/users/1047831/myfile.mdl
So you only need to just copy the dropbox.com/u/users/1047831/ only not the file name.

Paste the root in your server.cfg at top line and when a client connect to your server, if he dont have the required file, the file will be downloaded from your dropbox account.

Just some advice here. Test your Fast Downloads URL in your web browser first. If you can access your files, then you're good to go. If you can't then check your URL and try again. Copy the working URL from your web browser to your game configuration. Good luck.
