im thinking of going to windows vista ultimate x64 from windows xp proffessional x64 i got 4GB ram what do you think should i use windows vista or xp? which is better

wait for windows 7?

I personally would choose vista over XP, but aparently windows 7 is gonna be better than both of them...

I dont like vista based on the fact that nothing works with it. Or if it does its nice and buggy, and if you need a driver... pfft.

That's a false assumption, I use Vista on my laptop and I still haven't managed to find a single program not working on it.

And to answer the poll:

Vista x64 if you have 4GB or more RAM (XP 64 sucks)
Windows XP x86 if you have 3GB or less
Linux if you have the guts

If is a 64 Bits Operating System i prefer Windows Vista because Windows XP 64 Bits has a lot of compatibility problems.

Not 100% true
Ive been using it for quite a while, and the only program that dosent work is "custom-strike" which lets me make decals for CS 1.6

Other than that, its been fine
