There is a KZ server that has an addon that incorporates google ads into the CS server using amxmodx. The way it works is you type /adrewards in the server which brings up an motd window with directions telling you to open up your browser and go to their home page and click on a google ad. Once you have done that, the server automatically knows that you have clicked on an ad, and you get cheats in the server such as jet pack, etc. I know for a fact I need something on my site called adlogger which tracks who clicks the ads. And the owner of the server told me I needed to use MySQL to write my own amxmodx plugin. Do you have any idea what to do in order to get this working? If you want to see what I'm talking about, here is the IP of the server, just type /adrewards : 206.212.246.203:27017. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I don't think thats possible... Because clicking Ads, 1) is wrong becuase thats cheating and they will come after you and 2) Is googles deal. Once you click it (JavaScript, they record and redirect you.

This is fraud. "Coming after you" is a bit unlikely, but having your monies confiscated and account closed is quite possible. Google knows what percentage of visitors are likely to click an ad. If they find that say, 75% percent of people who view the ad are clicking it, and are doing so regularly, it will be easy for them to detect what you're doing. How strictly they enforce their rules is unclear because they benefit financially when you break them - they have to strike a balance between keeping advertisers and webmasters happy.

You're not stealing from Google, but the many small companies that advertise with them that expect potential customers to visit their site.

A lot of ordinarily good people seem to miss what is is they're doing wrong when it's online.

AdLogger July 12th, 2007 Unfortunately the development of AdLogger has been put to a halt. Due to some recent changes in the Google AdSense program, AdLogger has been rendered inaccurate and useless. Despite the best efforts to circumvent these changes and maintain a high level of accuracy, our developers could not come up with a solution.

alka, it CAN work but it won't be accurate all the time..besides its fraud.
