Flash/Beast - Speed Stops Working on Weapon Switch

AMX Mod 0.9.9 superhero - current metamod - current Im curious.. when i select flash, or beast... im sospose to have there speed right? right! when the round starts.. i have there speed.. then as soon as i switch weapons, i drasticly lose the speed.. whats causing this? thanks for any help.
