I've been wondering about if fastdl works on CS 1.6. I have been searching around, but couldnt find anything.
So i wanna know on how to do it. I've tried many things. But it downloads slow.

So thats why i came here. Hope i can find some help here.

It sounds like you haven't tried to look at the official documentation for fast download. Here and here. Some specific parts may not be 100% accurate for Counter-Strike 1.6 but the basics of setting it up are all there.

Download for example this:

http://www.rejetto.com/hfs/

Run, then drop ur folder in this case cstrike, then copy URL (if u want click 'You are in easy mode' and then it will switch to Expert mode )

then paste copied URL in server cfg like that:

sv_downloadurl "link here"

works to me 100%

It seems to work, because before i tried another host and then it said "wrong number version 314834647 should be 30". But it arent downloading that fast, but its a bit faster.

Can people who join my server use this download?
