There is only one way to know what version a client has. They will always be using the most up-to-date version that Steam gives you.

I'm just saying that it is possible to play with older versions too (with Steam) and some players are using it.

Any version that is not up-to-date is not supported here so there is no reason to discuss anything other than the most recent version of any game.

Why are you trying to act like a boss? I'm just pointing out a fact that some players are using older versions (previous updates, like before 2013... folders changed), it is possible to change your files.
