don't confuse getting replacement skins to make your particular model look different to you ingame, verses, getting a model with it's materials that has been rigged (boned) for FF2 such that it can be a boss. These are 2 different things. I don't know how many times I have seen someone go to gamebanana and download reskins that is intended to make your scout or whatever look different to you ingame, and they assume that this is valid content for making a FF2boss look this way.

You seem to be missing the vmt files. you need to create them from the vtf, can use vtfedit and open vtf file, tools> create vmt. Probably want to set your shader as "VertexLitGeneric". save it in the same directory as the vtf or where ever the model is looking for it.
