Is there a way to make Left4dead2 a gungame version where as instead of completing the map to escape just have it with the characters whoever gets to the knife (samurai sword) level wins.. and have it were this gungame mod must have the added plugin to allow more players to play on the survivors side.... what do u guys think?

"Gun Game" has a specific design to be Player Vs Player in a FFA. Left4Dead 2 does not have the design for other survivors to be opponents. Even if you tweak friendly fire to match 1:1 to damage done to infected, you still have the issue that you would run into when your health hits zero: incap. Next issue would be is respawning after death.

Seems like a lot of game mechanic rewrites for a mode that I can't see being something used by many.

Could be fun if the game mode was normal but it just gave a random survivor weapons every time they killed a special infected, block from picking up ammo or new weapons, etc.
