I was wondering if a sourcemod plugin could be created to allow more then 65-66 players.
The first way i was thinking this might be done is via having say 3 servers that communicate with each other. Each server would manage a part of a map and dynamically change the areas when players move around on the map. As no one sever could have more then 65 players. At the same time all players would not be using the same cpu, then there should not be any cpu issues. This type of mod would also allow more complex RPG type games under css, etc as there could be 200+ in one big map. If this plugin was created it would have so many possibility's to change the way how so many plugins could work. I know this type of plugin would most likely require sub executable file to take the resources of the main srcds.exe. I have seen a few script already out there, mainly event scripts that exec scripts such as wget. (only on server side)
