Well, now that valve disabled vocalizing there should be plugin to re-enable it for those loyal fans no ?

I'm all for it. (if it's possible) So at least a server admin (with sourcemod) can choose if he wants it on the server or not.

In L4D2, there's automated chatter of the characters.

While not an outwardly accessible command, 'vocalize' could be executed on any client from a bind.

This caused losers to spend all day spamming lines in L4D2 or spamming the annoying sounds made when a character dies 10-20 times a second.

Valve fixed the exploit and you can't use it to run vocalize commands anymore. What a pity CosmicD can't annoying people with constant death screams anymore.

You can't use any vocal commands of any sort now.

It's stupid.
A better solution would have been to implement a limit. Such as this plugin here.

They removed the vocalize sounds without even writing it in the "Update News"? How lame. Yeah, I'd love to see a plugin enabling it again. There's nothing better then spamming the vocalize sounds by Ellis.

I admit people that run around hitting the key constantly are annoying and people that bind it to firing their gun or something but it is funny for use just at the right time

I dont get what people are talking about, my custom Radial Menu and all its vocalizes work just fine

Valve never blocked the radial menus, only the console bindings to the commands
Thus you can no longer press a button on your keyboard to use your command.

From what I've heard, the only way to do vocalizes is through the radial menu. If it's a custom radial menu, sv_consistency (I think) needs to be set to 0 on the server.
