I did not want to steal away another forum users thread,
so I started my own here ...

I'm having periodic crashes of some of my CSS servers
This is on a dedicated collocated server
Dual Intel Xeon E5410 Harpertown 2.33GHz
ASUS DSBV-DX Dual LGA 771
Crucial 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR2
Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition

Trying to decode some .mdmp files.
I tried this on my local machine and not on my dedicated box.

I took Lob Lob (UK's advise and downloaded WinDbg
and I set the 'Symbol File Path' to http://www.sourcemod.net/symbols/

I wonder if I would have better results on the dedicated box running our servers.

You need to install the windows symbols for your Server OS or use the Use the Microsoft Symbol Server if you are debugging from a different PC and OS etc.

Your attached mdmp points to the engine.dll

Do you also have Es_Tools installed on that Server where the mdmp is from. If so, i would strongly suggest that you look at removing Es_Tools before you go any further as it is very prone to crashing Servers.

Yes I do have es_tools installed
I need it for an event script SuperMods.

I guess I should look for a SourceMOD plugin to replace it
I will remove es_tools and report back my findings.

I have removed es_tools from our servers
and will report back if crash files appear.

This crash is deep in the engine at a very low invalid address (0x1B). I saw a crash in ES like this a long time ago, so it could be similar, but I have not investigated this particular one deep enough.

I would disable EST to try and narrow it down.

This is the latest .mdmp crash file from our CSS dust2 36 slot server
es_tools was uninstalled yesterday.

This crash is in RCON handling code somewhere. That's all I can tell from reverse engineering. If you would like I can forward the mdmp onto Valve for you.

I actually had two separate pubs crash within minuets of each other early this morning Friday 10-16-2009.
These pubs are identical CSS dedicated dust2 servers.

I see two items in the system event viewer under system
that match the crash times
