I've noticed that sometimes trade chat will be disabled for players who have never disabled it, and it is difficult for them to find out how to re-enable it. On my servers, I've changed TradeDisabledForYou to say: "{green}[%s] {lightgreen}You can't use {green}/T {lightgreen}when you have disabled trade chat. You may enable trade chat with {green}/TOGGLECHAT{lightgreen}."

It would be nice if that were the default, and if it were translated to other languages.

Is there any specific reason why all the commands are shown to be in ALL-CAPS in the advertisement messages? I have many users typing in /TOGGLECHAT when they should be using /togglechat, /MLT when they should be using /mlt, /T instead of /t, etc.

I know I can just edit tradechat.phrases.txt, but I'm wondering if there's a reason why I shouldn't.

Yup, one of users asked me to change it, because players used to write wrong characters. Does it matter if they write it all-caps or normally?

Yes, it matters; commands are case sensitive when used from the text chat. Typing /MLT does nothing. Typing /mlt does. Some of my users get very upset when the advertised commands don't seem to do anything. We have to explain to them that the letters must all be lower-case, contrary to what they were previously told.

I think we have to think which option is better (or make a chat hook instead of console commands with case insensitive match, but I don't think it's a good idea in this case).

Or just register two commands, one for lower-case and one for upper-case. Though people would have to take this into account when overriding.

Alternatively think of some new commands (lower-case) that aren't ambiguous and use those instead.

Upper case, lower case, doesn't matter to me. All I want is for the periodic advertisements to reflect what the command actually is.
