This new update has made the server performance so much sluggish that even at 60 ticks feels like 30 ticks. Its really getting to me. Anyone else feels like they just locked up everything?

For me it's the complete opposite.
Server runs alot better and client runs alot better.

Did you do a complete reinstall or just an update? I'm running on Debian Buster, but the performance deterioration is massive. It got to the point where bullets are not registering on a charger standing in front of me.

Just updated it and all the plugins that had gamedata get busted by the update.
My client is windows, server is linux not sure in distro my host uses.

@Spirit_12 Linux Debian 7 Server here. Runs good so far. I feel its even running better but could just be me. I've just SourceMod and updated the server.

My SM version is 1.11.0.6484
Updated the gamedata for Last Stand, also use the new l4d2_bugfixes.txt, but it still unable to load. Maybe I did something wrong without understanding about it. Hope someone can help me fix this .

Do i need to build a new sourcemod? Tried to use dev version of MetaMod:Source (mmsource-1.11.0-git1143-windows) but it still not work. It only works when i try to use the lastest sourcemod 1.11.6633, but almost my plugins will have a error with the sm 1.11.6633 so it require me to rebuild them.

@Spirit_12, as Lux said the servers are running better after the update, I'm using a windows host.

What I did was redownload:
  • SM1.10 / SM 1.11 (I have servers with 1.10 others with 1.11)
  • Metamod 1.11
  • Reuploaded all 3rd party plugins (config / plugin / data / gamedata / translation / scripting)
  • Updated left4dhooks (Silvers)
  • Updated some plugins gamedata

And it's working fine, most of map crashes related to entities had gone.

Note: I noticed some servers (not mine) lagging for me, and outputing a lot of message errors in console for the client, check if this is not the case.
Was already like that before the update, this bug started a month ago.

Usually the message start with "PKT" and is followed by a lot of unknown characteres.

Maybe is some plugin behavior messing with your server.
