To keep the post visible since it shot to the previous page fairly quickly, I'll quote yesterday's update:

  • Fixes recent issues with players reverting to normal size on respawn.
  • Added ConVar sm_resize_cooldown to provide command cooldowns (see ConVars).
  • Added override flag sm_resizecooldownbypass to allow certain admins to bypass any cooldown (see Overrides).

No, I don't like the idea of updaters when some people are happy keeping older versions. It's not my call to tell them what to use.

It's rather simple to create a cvar that enables/disables the automatic updating. You can even have "disabled" be the default setting. This is clearly the best solution, as no one is inconvenienced, no one has any strange new versions forced on them, and people who want the automatic updates can get them.

Also, if a person doesn't want the automatic updates, they probably wouldn't be running the Updater plugin at all.

Very true, I'll consider it for future updates.

Is there a way to make your head small as well? Can't find a way to do that, just normal and big.

Adding an Updater toggle CVAR might be a good idea. It at least gives me notifications when new versions are out for plugins.

Use any number smaller than 1.0, e.g. sm_resizehead @me 0.5 will make your head half the normal size.

If you read the top of this page you'll find some of us discussing this, and just three posts above yours you'll find me saying that I will consider including it in future updates.

On the other hand, you could just subscribe to this thread if you just want a simple notification of future updates - I always make a post immediately after each one. You're here often enough.
