For my "host" (since my database is on the local machine) I use a path to the mysqld socket, which for me is "/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock" and I also specifiy a "port" of "3306" however, since i can't even connect to your sourcebans web directory, one can only assume you haven't done that part right yet.

atm its worse cause they can rejoin after a perm ban instead of after a server restart or crash hope i can get this working soon, why are there people intend on being obnoxious just for the sake of it. i heard one of there voices sounded over 21 at least i dont get it.

all this website stuff is so alien to me ive no clue what im doing this cPanel X looks like a good prog just wish i know how to use it

I'm not sure if I've asked this before but does IP# bans work for anyone using this?

I can ban a person as an IP# ban instead of SteamID and it doesn't seem to block them.

All else works fine, no problems, no errors so it has to be something with the way this is written unless I'm missing something here.

Hey I noticed the CS:Go servers use a similar steamid verification to L4D. E.g. instead of steamid STEAM_0:1:242424 its STEAM_1:1:242424

How would this impact my sourcebans if we added a csgo server (when Sourcemod is working for it). Would it still block people banned with original steamid verification or do we have to change the steamids all to new format?

Valve, why can't you use constant Steam IDs?

I would hope SourceBans handles Steam IDs the same way SourceMod does, only comparing X:XXXXXXX

Is it guaranteed that both STEAM_0:A:BCDEF and STEAM_1:A:BCDEF could exist?

Maybe converting to SteamID64 may be a better solution.

Actually, scrap that. Like you said, just remove the check for STEAM_X if it already exists.
