Hey Steell,
I tried using the UMC 3.4.1 but for some reason i get this error
Quote:

L 08/05/2012 - 2129: [umc-core.smx] WARNING: Map "dod_red_arena.bsp" does not exist on the server. (Group: "A Group")
L 08/05/2012 - 2129: [umc-core.smx] WARNING: Map "gg_spademap_s4e.bsp" does not exist on the server. (Group: "A Group")
L 08/05/2012 - 2129: [umc-core.smx] WARNING: Map "dod_flash.bsp" does not exist on the server. (Group: "A Group")
L 08/05/2012 - 2129: [umc-core.smx] Initiating Vote Type: Map
L 08/05/2012 - 2129: [umc-rockthevote.smx] Could not start UMC vote.
even though the maps are in the maps folder. i tried using the sm_map to change the map but it also says that the map cannot be found. how do i fix this?

I have no time to test 3.4.1 till end of August =(

But I am sure, youve done a good work there. Your changelog is sounding very nice!

@steel: i am seeing that "[sm] changed map" thingy again, and then the server hangs again.. seen it 3x since last update. I've disabled updater on 1 server like we tried last time and i'll report back if its still the case on that box.

Your issue sounds a lot like this one: https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=182999

No idea. Double check to make sure they're spelled correctly? If sm_map isn't working, then SourceMod in general isn't detecting those maps, so there's nothing I can do about it in UMC.

EDIT: The problem is that you have ".bsp" at the end of the map names. Remove that and you should be all set.

I'm guessing at this point, but:

Don't include the .bsp in the map filesnames in umc_mapcycle.txt or in the sm_map command.

For that matter, are the maps in the correct directory, which iirc should be orangebox/dod/maps if this is DoD:S

I believe this is the problem. Try removing the ".bsp" from the map names.

@steel: well its the same error message as last time, since then it wasn't hanging at all. After last update its back again.. perhaps i need to remove all the smx files again and restart or something. But it is not related to the url your saying. I actually dont have any strange hangs, because its always at the same location/part. But i am trying to troubleshoot it further because i know its impossible for you to go work on a "it hangs, go fix" error message

Please don't abuse me if I don't understand. I am trying to complete the change-over to SM from years of Mani. One of the features we use as admin a lot is the abilty to choose the nextmap from the menu in Mani. Is there a SM plugin that has that function? I know that SM has the nextmap function but it needs to be typed in. I run a couple hundred maps on several HL2DM servers and need the menu function to keep up. Thanks to any who respond with direction.
