He can't fix it, it's a game dll thing. Unless he personally re-releases every game that uses ResetHUD, then it's not possible to fix without some hack that will probably break every other plugin that uses it.

The simple answer is to not use it for anything that can be exploited, and instead use the round start log event.

ResetHUD doesn't cause servers to crash. Poorly written plugins cause servers to crash.

Edit: Just read your prior messages. ResetHUD isn't buggy either. It's called when it's supposed to be called.

Ummm sorry for this newb question, but I'm trying to install it via FTP and where it says "Connect to server and select the mod directory"... where do I click??? Everything I try it says Invalid Directory :*( Please help me. kthx

Try this, Local Disk/ Program Files, and that should be it unless you plan to use a dedicated server then try, Local Disk/ Program Files/ Steam/ SteamAPPS/ <account name>/ Dedicated Server/<game>

At least I think this is where it goes =P...

But when I press connect it brings me to my server FTP so I can't find the cstrike folder or whatever...

Where on Earth does it say Source anywhere? This is an HL 1 mod.
