No. But are you sure certain players are not spamming the chat with a certain command? It was happening on our server and made people timeout and crash hl2.exe. Helvetica and me troubleshooted the issue and found a workaround. I've also been told it's possibly fixed in sm 1.4.3 but did not test that yet.

I finally got around to putting together Fox McCloud skin. So for anyone who cares to try it here ya go:

The custom animations are sort of "fun"

I'm having a problem.

I have uploaded the model and materials for the model to my server + fastDL.
I edited the config so it should load the model from its path.

Now whenver I restart the server, the model won't download, and I would just get an ERROR sign.
Anyone has any idea why this happens?

Did you include a .dep file?

6. Now create a .txt file in the model folder and name it after the .mdl file and give it the .dep extension. Now copy the filenames of the files inside your model folder with the CopyFileNames tool and and do the same for the files in your materials folder

Help! How can you set it for only admins? All the commands don't work, its open to everyone!

Is it possible to equip custom weapon models? But only in the player's view?

Here's Captain America model which I use only for blue (obviously). I converted the model from this pack:
http://gamebanana.com/skins/32059

A screenshot of it in game:

Link to the actual files:

I said to Eraserhead a while back I would upload to his server but never got around to it. Seeing how this is a blue skin only, I made it admin only so users won't have to fight to be on blue. I didn't bother converting it to the new method as FlamingSarge suggests as this was done a while back before he got the idea of the _stock skins. Besides, I'm not sure what needs to be done in order for it to work so I figure I'll just upload what I have that I know works.

If I understand correctly, you may just need to rename the soldier.mdl and edit the .dep file to reflect the new file name.

Here, have a free 5 minute texture.

As for your issue, download Sarge's stock Soldier model and add that to the .dep file, then use Mecha's hexer to point your hexed .mdl to Sarge's stock model instead of the default Valve location.
