"can't" sorry for typo... and your right, they can have same ip... but they wont work on the internet, or with each other... anyhow as i was saying...

find other ips with the same number of octet is not uncommon for me... so heres an idea... go with 1st 3 octets and check the subnet mask as well if those 2 match, then you have a lan, dont ask me how to find subnet mask on or for amxx use... (im useless for coding crap)

I don't think you can check a user's subnetmask with AMXX and I'm also not sure why you think it should be checked. Clients on the same network (not necessarily a LAN) usually have the same subnetmask and sometimes the same three first octets in their ip. This doesn't mean that they're on a LAN.
