when I uploaded the newer version 1.5.4 the windows server stays down, from there I disabled every plugin, and adding them by 4 or 5 together.. every plugin from SM and other I have load corretly just not vocalizefatigue and basecomm.

to be very sure and checked double, I delete every plugin and placed only the sourcemod ones.

I deleted bascomm.smx in this, the moment I place this plugin in plugins, it stays down and does't go up anymore. checked the error log.. nothing.

even only bascomm.smx the server stays down as well.

at this moment I have 3 plugins that crashes the server. and this is windows only..

1:RCON
2:vocalizefatigue
3:basecomm

I'm seeing crashes on Linux using sourcemod-1.5.4-hg4059 and mmsource-1.10.1-hg891 with no other addons or non-stock plugins installed. The server has the latest game update (1.0.2.9 5672). Disabling the stock Sourcemod plugins stops the crashes.

epzminion, if you read a few post back you will see CosmicD said that only the basecomm will crash the server instead of the other stock plugins

Yes thank you Danny_l4d. My reply was to psychonic asking whether the crash was related to basecomm itself or if it could have been caused by another, basecomm-dependent plugin. My post was just to confirm that crashes on startup are occurring on a clean install of metamod and sourcemod with no non-stock plugins or extensions loaded.

Is there a particular version we should be using for proper function in L4D1? So far stable SM versions 1.5.4-hg4056 through 1.5.4-hg4059 crash my servers, as does dev branch 1.6.0-hg4378. I'm using MM version 1.10.1-hg891. The release version of MM doesn't load for me, so I've been using that version. Metamod itself loads fine, but upon installation of SM the server crashes right away. Thanks.

Sorry, Work has been hectic the last week so i have not been around (Not even IRC)

Disable Basecomm and permamute if you have it running.

I had vocalize fatigue from Mr Zero running which is seg faulting the server as well as basecomm.

Hopefully the guys can look at this issue and sort it. I will log a bug about this.

I can't reproduce the basecomm issues. The server stays up fine with SM and the included base plugins.

We are using windows for it Psychonic. NFO game servers to be exact. Not sure if they could be doing something to interfere with it. But disabling basecomm stops the server from infinite looping.

Mr zero's original vocalize fatigue plugin also crashes the server now to.

HI, im running l4d on linux sv with mmsource v1.11.0 dev and sourcemod v1.5.4 dev+4056, and the plugin rotoblin.smx not works, this says error:
[SM] Plugin rotoblin.smx failed to load: Required extension "Left 4 Downtown" file("left4downtown.ext") not running..

I tried with others versions but not works i can replace this extension on folder server but message continues..
PD: this is only with rotoblin.smx l4dready.smx and l4dscores.smx
any idea to solve this problem?
