OK I was wondering if anyone can fix the m60 explosive and incendiary ammo pack pickups to give atleast 1 full magazine of ammo or however is designated for this mod GunControl that goes along with this mod Improved Prevent M60 Weapon Drop to create a fully functional, rearmable M60.

Basically with this, the M60 can have say 950 rounds in reserve, be rearmable from ammo piles, the weapon no longer drops on reload, it functions as any other weapon in the game. We just need a fix that fixes M60 grabbing explosive or incendiary ammo packs if higher than 1 from guncontrol so basically if its set to 2 in guncontrol it should give 300 explosive/incendiary rounds (whatever the ammo box pickup was). however the bug is. if its higher than 1 it doesnt give 150 rounds or however many rounds are in the magazine it gives some random bugged number that is not consistent and is rather random like 16, 236, etc. Im requesting a fix for that.

i'll look into it...last i knew setting 1 clip for special ammo works fine but if u set it to 2 it bugs because the special ammo clip limit is 255 or 256...cant remember...i never supported more than 1 because of this limitation. i may be able to work around this issue by tracking how much special ammo u have and dynamicly giving it to each clip.

OK sweet that would be great if you can get it to work. Also I tested 1950 reserve rounds with m60 and up to 3950 reserve rounds with smg and 2950 reserve rounds with assault rifles. They all Worked fine only the display tooltip for ammo count doesn't display over 900 - 1000+ rounds properly. The ammo packs still work fine with this as well its just the m60 that has the problem!

It expends the ammo from reserves just fine only it will only successfully display 900 - 1000 rounds at a time. instead of just a straight up 1950 rounds displayed exactly.

OK after playing around some more I noticed sm_cvar ammo_chainsaw_max -2 or any value like 40 9999 it doesn't change the amount of ammo the chainsaw has maybe you could find a way to get chainsaw ammo in this plugin? also give m60 and everything -2 value gives them infinite ammo including grenade launcher and every othe weapon in the game. except the chainsaw, chainsaw ammo plugin or code for this plugin is probably needed!

What this cvar does in detail, I do not understand it at all.
You can win ammunition until you reach a maximum of 200, but whenever you get a new m60, you will always have 150 bullets and no 200 bullets?

You probably need this mod for your m60 https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?p=2446651

with that mod im able to give my m60 150 rounds in magazine, 950 rounds in reserve with this in server.cfg file sm_cvar ammo_m60_max 950 or with a -2 value for infinite reserve ammo which will show up like 999 for reserve and stay that way no matter how many times u have to reload it. sm_cvar ammo_m60_max -2

Mod started Crashing my server, when i join it after todays brand new L4D2 update, i have no idea why tho, any clues?

I highly doubt this plugin is actually crashing the server. It's most likely your server hasn't received the 2 updated gamedata files for sourcemod. Several other people are blaming random plugins for crashes when they're totally unrelated. How did you even arrive at the conclusion this plugin was causing a crash? View this thread for links to manually update the gamedata files, and view other plugins which require updates to fix breakages: https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=327495

Well, i removed it, and it stopped crashing so yea..
btw. even after i updated the 2 txt gamedata files, it still kept crashing when i tried to join

EDIT: Upgraded SM to 1.10 branch and it miraculously stopped crashing, yaaay! Thx Silvers
