SourceMod was updated a couple of hours before the TF2 update, use the latest snapshots.

The waterfall page says that 1.7 hasn't been updated for a few hours. I tried the latest 1.7 snapshot and it did not fix the issue. I tried the latest 1.8 snapshot and it did solve the issue. So heads to anyone with the same problem.

The 1.7 builds accidentally got accidentally attempted to be rebuilt moments before the SDK was updated, causing the builds to fail and not be uploaded. The new ones coming in now should be fine.

I'm going to warn people right now... the fuzzy name matching thing is going to cause issues with SourceMod's nominate plugin.

Right now, if you don't match the filename before the .bsp exactly, MapChooser (and MCE, and UMC) will think that they are different maps. An example of this is workshop/my_mapname.ugc1234567 and my_mapname.

I may submit (another) pull request against nominations (and possibly mapchooser) to deal with this. I think I already have an outdated branch that I was working on that added workshop support for CS:GO.

Having said that, if I do submit this change, it will just strip off the workshop/ (or workshop\) and .ugcwhatever when comparing them. (Edit: Or whatever the current directory is... testing is clearly required) That way, it won't think ph_cchotel_b2 and ph_cchotel_b3 are the same thing.
