I've been searching for a way to allow the sniper in TF2 to jump while using the huntsman, but I've not found anything yet.

I did find an excellent extension to allow the huntsman to be fired in the air and was wondering if there is something similar to allow the sniper to jump while wielding the huntsman.

Thanks.

I bump this because I'd like to know if and how it is possible and also how to prevent the sniper from slowing down while charging the arrow.

You would have to make an extension.
Pretty sure there are also ni animation layers for drawing while jumping/airwalking, so youll just drop like a brick with it as you hop.

You could probably hook IN_JUMP being pressed, and send the player up into the air a little bit, mark them as jumping, and whatnot. A little dirty, and the animation would indeed not be right (seems like it'd be the standard Huntsman airwalk animation) but it could work.

Move speed while aiming can be easily changed by giving the Huntsman (or player) the attribute "sniper aiming movespeed decreased" and setting it to 1.875, using TF2Attributes.

Isn't it just easier to read the title and reply?

I just read the title lol.

Now that I see what he's looking for, I'm thinking there aren't proper anims on the Sniper for "jump while charging the Huntsman" so any plugin making the Huntsman able to jump whilst charging the Huntsman would make the Sniper look a tad silly.
