There was a plugin ages ago that made the classes spit out one of TF's many unused "melee dare" lines when a melee weapon was pulled out within viewing distance of another player. It would be awesome if you could add something like that to this mod.

Could you add some cvars to completely disable all the support stuff (Jarate, etc) and buildables? There are plenty of people who don't consider those melee.

I added the cvar melee_mode to set whether or not to enable non-combat weapons. Set it to 1 and players won't be able to use anything but their melee weapon.

i have modded several games but somehow i cannot find
sourcemod/plugins or
sourcemod/gamedata can you give more assistance with the full directory

The path is going to be addons/sourcemod/ inside the game.

To disable sentries, set melee_mode 1. Sentries always don't shoot, so they are 'disabled'

Been looking through all the pages on how to make users able to vote for melee mode.

I've set up customvotes (hopefully working), but how do I allow users to vote for melee only?

Tried creating a "meleevote.cfg" in "/sourcemod/configs/customvotes" with this inside

this is broken for me since i updated to latest stable snappy... or maybe the last update... im not sure... i just noticed it

sm plugins list: (just melee part are 67 pl;ugins total, but none have been changed... only upgraded to sm 1.3.5)

happening on all 4 of my servers... they each have different setups, but errors are all the same... hope this helps
