I think someone should take this plugin and make a hard rework of it.

Another idea intends to sourcemod developers: create a plugin and all required functions for it, that's will display information about any vote (create events or forwards OnVoteStart/OnVoteEnd e.g., GetCurrentVoteInfo, etc.) and called voteprogress.sp (maybe). It will take info about any current vote (map,ban,kick, etc.) and shows progress in hint.
