Probably because it's an optional update.

And by "optional" they mean "server only."

Now that I had some facetime with the mod, I must say its really a lot of fun. I had 2 suggestions though. Maybe add a cvar or a client option to turn off the sound that plays when you pull out your melee. It can get quite annoying.

Also a wild idea here, maybe add a cvar to allow 1 pyro on each team that can only airblast, and has infinite ammo, after theres 10 people in the server. I can see that making things interesting.

If you mean the horn thing, I have no idea what's even causing it, let alone how to fix it. It's definitely not intentional.

I've been told the same thing happens in VSH/FF2 if you have a Huntsman, but I haven't tried it... maybe related to TF2Items somehow?

Maybe, but that sounds like a pain in the butt to code.

The standard seems to be to use the hh_ prefix (Intox already has some maps, but as far as I can tell, they're not public).

Best post ever. First couple of times I heard it, I was like WTF?!?

Anyway, what's the proper way of loading this plugin without it being enabled? Also when I've used it from the first version, I wasn't able to disable the plugin without unloading the plugin, then renaming the plugin extension then change maps so that it is running a normal capture map or dm map. The side effect to this is the game doesn't say Team Fortress 2 anymore, it says HuntsmenHell.

Open cfg/sourcemod/huntsmanhell.cfg and comment out huntsmanhell_enabled. Once that's done, you can set huntsmanhell_enabled from within a map config and/or server.cfg. I *think* I put enabled checks on all functions this plugin does.

Although I should warn you that Huntsman Hell only checks its enable cvar once... specifically after all configuration files have run. This is to stop it from being changed mid-round. I should probably change that so you can change it between rounds.

I also should add a cvar as to whether to change the game name to being with, and some additional code to change the game mode name back when the plugin is unloaded.

the horn sound when you put out any fire with jarate is funny. i think it's related to MvM or one of the MvM sounds. You can actually spam the sound to everyone by throwing jarate and never letting go of the M1 button. It'll just loop and loop until you let off. makes for some fun times especially if your out to annoy people
