Writing to confirm that as of today's snapshots this plugin remains broken.

Any plans for a fix Ross?

1. To the people who are having issues: Which OS are you running?

2. This plugin is a (thin) wrapper around core SourceMod functionality. I can fix it if the holiday numbers have changed... but they haven't (I literally just checked the Linux game binary). Your best bet is to file a bug on the SourceMod bug tracker and mention that the TF2_OnIsHolidayActive gamedata is probably wrong.

Since no one else has filed a bug about it yet, I did. It's bug 6137 in the AlliedModders bug tracker.

At some point, I really need to learn how to lookup/create Windows signatures to check these sorts of things myself.

With tfh_fullmoon set to 1, Halloween stuff still works on our server.

It's winter and birthday that don't work for us (People complained that the noisemakers didn't work).

Our SM version is "1.5.3-dev+3952". (Still kind of new at this. sorry!)

Despite the tfh_fullmoon ConVar still appearing in the list on the front page, the changelog says that, as of 1.2, "tfh_fullmoon is now gone [and to] use tfh_halloween 2 for Full Moon mode."

1.9.0 also forces the issue by changing tf_forced_holiday if Full Moon / Halloween are enabled because wearables don't work without it due to client restrictions. Basically, clients were refusing to use the Zombie skins when Zombie wearables were being used.

I kinda wish I knew how Eternaween was forcing it on clients so I could fix this in a better manner.

According to Valve's source-1-games bugtracker, tf_forced_holiday will be changed at some point in the future, but they haven't said how yet. Such a change would make this plugin obsolete. Having said that, be aware that said bug has been marked as Future milestone for a year or so.

It came back in 1.8.0: "Adds tfh_valentines and tfh_fullmoon. tfh_halloween 2 is now deprecated."

Incidentally, there's apparently a reason that it's broken on Windows... psychonic took a look at it and apparently the function we're detouring, TF_IsHolidayActive, has been in-lined on Windows in 5 of the 7 spots it used to be called.

Meaning that it's not called in most places any more, which is why it isn't working.

Oddly, it doesn't appear that they in-lined it on Linux.

How to disable the thriller taunt? My server has mass spycrabs and events and during spycrabs the taunt can drag them out to a long time. We do free events for upto 6 hours and the taunt gets in the way a lot. Is there a way to disable it?
