[REQ-L4D] Hide cvar commands

is there any way to disable the way cvars pop up for all uses I.E. server cvar sv_cheats changed to 1 etc.? It would be nice to change values without them being announced to everyone. thanks for input.

removing the flag FCVAR_NOTIFY from the cvar is the only way I can think of, but this may suffice for you:

From what I've read it looks like FCVAR_NOTIFY will do what I need but I cant seem to find the cvar list anywhere to edit

You have to write a plugin to do that. There is no list of CVARs

This is a good idea, I'd like something like this in TF2, while using bots the cvar's spam chat when the bots enter and get kicked by the server when filling it to match the players. Like "cvar tf_bot_count 4 changed" or something like that etc. etc. Surely someone can write a small plugin to block all the server commands in chat to stop the annoying chat spam that is really not needed.
