Hey guys,

Please can someone help me get the source to my plugin? I spent so much time on it.

I have the .smx file but I don't know what I should do now to get the original working source.

Thanks!

Hey,

Thanks for your response I appreciate it.

I used this before but I can't get my plugin to work again (I'm not very experienced with sourcepawn). I know I'm asking a lot but please could you help me get this to work ?

Depending on how you deleted it, it may be recoverable.

Thanks for this, I have been trying to use this and ran a deep scan overnight but it found the file I wanted but it had a red dot next to it and didn't work. I recycled the project folder... I didn't think it was in there and have no backups.

Decompiled plugins cannot be recompiled again. You use it as a guide to rewrite your plugin. It is logically sound but syntactically garbage.

Have the source codes on Dropbox, their file history and undelete file function is just awesome...
(I don't know about file history on OneDrive etc. but I guess it's gonna be the same)

P.S.: I use Synology as it also provides a file history and undeleting files.

You spent lots of time coding but you don't know enough sourcepawn to fix the decompiled code. If I were cynical, I would think you have an smx that doesn't belong to you.
