You can't edit the sounds :O Only knive sounds. And I dunno why you would have to edit the QC file when editing sounds...

Question. I did exactly what i asked you via aim, it downloads the models.

But sadly it doesnt work.

the reason you would want to edit the sounds in the qc file is if you dont like the sounds the model came with and want to use sounds that you like. recompile the model after you edit it and you have new sounds for the model you are uploading

@BACARRA: I see what you are saying now.

@everyone: If you know how, you can decompile v_ models and change the location of the sound file that the model uses. Then use this plugin to precache the sound.

totally lost when it comes to the config file can someone help me out?

I am adding new v_model skins to all my weapons no sounds.

I made a foler GHW in my models folder. and threw them all in there i tried doing

"models/v_knife.mdl" "models/GHW/v_knife.mdl" for the knife but when i loaded server it was still old knife -.- a little help will work. thanks alot.

is the server running? Check for errors in the log file.
