I downloaded and installed the released version on my test Linux box and it works fine with bots. Which other plugins do you both have installed?

Definitely the bots. I made custom cfg's for the as maps to disable bots and it no longer locks up.

Just VIP and mani, both using sourcemm and eventscripts with a couple of plugins. I have not deleted or added anything, other than installing latest version of VIP. However, when I downgraded, I got the same lockups. I am a bit puzzled myself.

Source metamod version of mani 1.2k
VIP mod C version

Works fine as long as there are no bots.

I am getting weird lighting errors on as_oilrig_wk, where models and players appear full bright in dark areas:

Anyone else, and is there a fix? Its quite annoying and something of a cheat.

Also the vip escape decal for as_vespa seems to be mia from the server package, possibly due to the lack of a .res file or something.

Also there is some random mincing I caught on one of my screenshots, I'm not sure if its a bug or if the player was just being fabulous:

This was an issue in some older beta sdk compiles of some maps, apparently as_oilrig_wk was not recompiled, or some lighting issues were not resolved.

You'd probably be better off posting that stuff on PAF forums, and you know I know who you are! :p

This sounds like an issue with the map, there should be env_cubemaps placed in areas contrasting in lighting.

Edit: Nevermind, the screenshots just showed up and this doesn't look like that, lol.

Duke,

Is there any way for me to change the hostage model if I have compiled my own hostage models?

I love to give my players a load of variety and plan to have different hostage models on different maps.

Cheers,

Layabout.
