Sarge thanks for the update. I run TF2 Beta and I keep my current gamedata files until changes are synchronized with the current TF2. I noticed that the only difference from my old tf2items.randomizer.txt file and the current one is CTFPlayer::RemoveWearable. Randomizer appears to be working fine with v1.54. But when I look at sourcemodplugins.org virtual table offset (thankfully he's updated the script) the gamedata for RemoveWearable matches yours. I just updated to the current smx and using your current gamedata but haven't turned on randomizer yet.

I guess my question is what are the repercussions of not having the correct value for RemoveWearable? I did keep a backup of my smx and gamedata file just in case.

*Reduced Rocket/Sticky Jumper health buff
I'm glad you did this but why are they buffed in the first place? As long as a person has a primary weapon or a workable melee, I figure it would just be considered a bad roll if there is nothing usable. It's ridiculous how many people think those weapons actually cause damage.

OK, how about this loadout:
Rocket Jumper
Sticky Jumper
Fan-o-War

Now you have a loadout where your only attack weapon does at most 5 damage, 15 if it crits.

You can't roll the Rocket and Sticky Jumpers simultaneously, but RJ + Short Circuit + Fan-o-War would be nearly equivalent.

The point of the health buffs were to counteract their old damage vulnerabilities, but now that they're gone, they just provide a normal overheal (only to 350 on the Heavy) when you spawn/touch a weapons locker.

CuriousG: RemoveWearable isn't used, so don't worry about it!

[3:27 AM] MasterOfTheXP: is there tf2ii support in randomizer?
[3:27 AM] FlaminSarge: no
[3:28 AM] FlaminSarge: for the sole reason it'd just be weird
[3:28 AM] FlaminSarge: to manage
[3:28 AM] FlaminSarge: once I rewrite how weapons are stored/chosen, then
[3:28 AM] FlaminSarge: and i've got to rewrite it
[3:28 AM] FlaminSarge: i'm planning on making festives/botkillers swap in for the defaults
[3:28 AM] FlaminSarge: the stock weps
[3:28 AM] FlaminSarge: so when that happens, then i can use tf2ii
[3:29 AM] MasterOfTheXP: so each time someone rolls a stock, it could be a festive/botkiller instead?
[3:29 AM] FlaminSarge: right.
[3:29 AM] FlaminSarge: not "Normal"
[3:29 AM] FlaminSarge: just, like "Minigun"
[3:29 AM] MasterOfTheXP: yeah
[3:29 AM] FlaminSarge: sorta like how the enthusiast's timepiece is right now
Otterfiend: I don't remember the question.

I see your point but there are already a lot of loadouts that doesn't do much damage or you're more likely to just die anyway. Why delay the inevitable

Well here's my counter to that. I only put Randomizer on a modified cp_orange_x4 map that allows people to go on the roof on either base (you've played that map) with loadout medic, sticky jumper, any heatshotting sniper rifle. Anytime I get anything like that I can easily get over 50 kill streak before being killed because of the buffed health, slow regeneration of health and other team hoping they have a decent sniper if and when they get a sniper rifle.

Is there any reason why some weapons seem to reload a lot slower? This is just my observation from the previous randomizer. I've played the current one briefly and I haven't notice any difference. Could be from the lack of loadouts I've had so far.

Real quick tiny update to 1.56, fixed the tf2items_rnd_set command. It was wonky.

EDIT: If you downloaded right after I posted this, download it again. I messed up another part of the same command. Woops.

Oh thank the gods you fixed the thing where players only have 100 metal, it was annoying only being able to make a dispenser... And I guess since there are so many Bot killer weapons they aren't going to be introduced into Randomizer?

Don't worry about it, my question from our steam chat was dumb and impatient.
