Can't say I've noticed this on my own servers, I've always been able to at least join directly (via connnect IPORT , or the server browser)

The map determines the number of usable slots. You could try to change the map settings find the entity and changing its props. on run time.

Use EntSpy. It's going to be the easiest way to find what you're looking for. You could also try decompiling the map using vmex and then opening it in Hammer to look at the entities, but that'll give the same results as EntSpy.

It seems map files are forcing something which is causing issues in this aspect, have you tried getting them to connect via a IP address? This has worked fine for me on my server just 10-20 minutes ago, we played through the entire of the "non-vs" maps of No Mercy.

If someone has started mapping or knows of anything that might be doing this, information would be highly appreciated.

isnt no mercy a map that can normaly be versus?
we cant connect using ip,server browser.
have you tried maps that dont have a versus mode already,like airport and smalltown?

Yes, we played a little of Airport and people could connect if given a direct IP Address. Either way I will keep looking for some form of documentation for this entity that forces an amount of players, apparently causing these issues?
