Dang, and here was me thinking I was being savvy downloading the SteamPipe system to understand and resolve any problems now rather than later. Now I'm devoid of anything TF2Items-related and parts of my VIP system.

Oh well, I guess it's only four days of waiting. (Unless Ravu Al Hemio has something for this too.) Keep up the good work regardless!

Ravu, in fact, has something for this too (since yesterday). However, he heard of some trouble, so "handle with care".

Also, if your favorite plugin needs beta gamedata, open an issue report. I rely on the community to tell me which non-bundled plugins I should look at.

Now that SteamPipe has been released, is there a need for updated gamedata, or did the reversion of binary changes allow previous gamedata to keep working?

Make sure you have the latest TF2 server update, as it was marked as optional and the gamedata will be wrong if you're running an older version.
