I am using the latest, 1.76c and it didnt work with 1.76b

When you upgraded AMXX 1.76b to AMXX 1.76c, did you upgrade the modules as well?

If you did then I don't know what else to say, it seems to be working fine for me and everyone else. Maybe you should try to re-install AMXX Mod again.

At the very least, your cstrike modules for AMXX are out of date. You might as well upgrade both the AMXX base and cstrike addon.
