Yeah he uses the get_players function which is pretty outdated and can have bugs. I'd suggest changing the functions to for loops between 1 and maxplayers.

Personally I just coded my own machine gun to do the same thing with about 12x more efficiency, I'd suggest the same to you - this plugin is a bit inefficient.
